Your Inspector: Jonathan
I've been inspecting homes across Southern New Brunswick for over a decade. From Victorian row houses in Uptown Saint John to new builds in Quispamsis, I've seen what our local climate and construction practices do to homes over time.
My approach is simple: I treat every inspection like I'm buying the home myself. I look for the things that matter and explain them in plain language so you understand what you're getting into.
After the inspection, I don't disappear. Have a question about your home six months or six years from now? Call me. I'm here to help with questions for as long as you own the property.
Building a More Complete Picture
Specialized tools allow me to gather additional information about how the home is performing beyond what a standard visual inspection provides.
Infrared camera reveals hidden moisture, missing insulation, and heat loss invisible during a standard walkthrough.

High resolution aerial video & photography for steep or inaccessible roofs without risking damage or safety.

Detailed findings with photos delivered to your inbox within 24 hours so you can act quickly.

Common Questions
How long does an inspection take?
Typically 2.5 to 3 hours for an average sized home. Larger or older properties may take longer. I don't rush because thoroughness matters more than speed.
Should I attend the inspection?
I encourage it. You'll learn where the shutoffs are, see any concerns firsthand, and have a chance to ask questions. Most buyers find the guided walkthrough as valuable as the report.
What if you find something serious?
You'll know about it the same day. My report clearly distinguishes between minor maintenance and significant concerns so you can prioritize what matters for your decision.
Can I use the report to negotiate?
Absolutely. Many buyers use inspection findings to negotiate repairs or a price reduction. The report gives you documented evidence to support your requests.
